The only real question for AP management is -how- to put the price increase through. I think the new approach is smart. No one's turning down a royal oak because it's 3% more expensive and the vast majority of potential customers aren't on these forums noticing the more frequent price hikes.

A single large increase, unless the products they sell are readily available.
It's quite frustrating to consumers to be waiting and waiting and waiting for a product they "ordered" only to see it experience 3+ price increases before that product is finally delivered to them.
No other industry is like this, since we typically have contracts that lock in pricing for products that "take long to produce or deliver."
