I've read lots of posts about how thick it is at the deployant but it shouldn't be compared to a standard metal bracelet. Compare it to a alligator strap with similar deployant and you'll find its the same as that. I liked it from the start so it was never an issue. It happens slowly like a larger strap. It takes wear. Bit too long though.
