To anyone who thinks these incremental price increases by AP (or Rolex, PP, etc) help smooth out the variance between RRP and Grey Market, here's why you are wrong:
These are too incremental to have an impact.
If AP suddenly raised the RRP of a Black Dial RO to $45k, then it'll start to have an impact there.
Otherwise, like others said, these increases just get tacked onto the GM pricing.
