Here’s the hard truth: There is no shortage, but there is strong demand. AD’s are getting deliveries regularly and the Submariner is probably one of their most frequent shipments. For whatever reason, and there could be many, your AD has decided it’s not your time to get one. At least not yet, and maybe no time soon.
I’d probably wait until Christmas and then go grey if I really wanted one and could stomach paying almost 2X retail.
