I like you thought process on the White dial. But think it's going to extremely tough and expensive sourcing out a white dial. I had a itch for a white dial speedmaster. I ended up picking up a couple Speedmaster Tokyo 2020's which are both favorites in the collection. They're not cheap but a third of the cost of the Canopus.
