I agree the forstner is a good option. I know someone who used the forstner end links and the 321 bracelet. A pricey alternative but does look good.
I used to have a speedy racing bracelet many moons ago. Was a perfect fit bit more in the old speedy style bracelet. It made the watch more sporty looking and if I was doing it today I’d go flat link for the vintage look.
