My SRT came with performance tires. They were god awful. Besides the fact that they cost a fortune and wear out in seemingly no time at all, they were absolute garbage on anything other than a dry warm road. Flat out dangerous in rain.
I'll give up a tiny bit of performance to have safe and stable all season tires.
