Sort of. I have a couple of Speedmasters, a Seamaster 300M Pro, an APRO, and a Tank Americaine.

The Seamaster and APRO have screw down crowns with a date so I have to unscrew them to wind and set the date/time. I also have to worry about setting the date in the danger zone which requires me to run the hour hand all the way around at least once so I know if the watch died in the am or pm. The Tank is a pull out crown with no date so setting the time is easy but it's impossible to grip if I need to wind it.

With the Speedmasters, I wind them and then pull out the crown to set the time. It's much easier and faster if one of my Speedmasters die and needs to be wound and set. If you don't care about actually setting the time/date on your watch then it doesn't really matter.
