My opinion may change, however, after I've seen the new 40mm model in real life. I think a wider bracelet could be a great change -- it certainly works on the Submariner -- although on the other hand I think Rolex made a big mistake by moving the word "Explorer" to the top of the watch face. I'm sure they did that for the sake of tradition, but in my opinion it ruins the balance.

I agree with you on the position of the name.
I think it looks amazing with the negative space with the name on the lower text rows. I also love the matt black face which is just a stunning imho.
