Very sorry to hear the news Dave. Cancer is an indiscriminate bitch of a thing. It doesn't care about feelings, or disposition or age, or plans..
It's bad enough it affects you in the way that it does, physically and mentally. But the part that scares the hell out of me is how it affects those that we eventually have to leave behind on this earth. My fight at that point would TRY to push pain management off and reassure loved ones. I can't even imagine. Stay strong, my friend. Thoughts and prayers out to you and your family.
