In Taiwan, a larger than normal percentage of allocations from AP are being sold directly to grey market dealers. The grey market dealers are instructed to only sell to people that will agree to never register the watches as their own. I'm not sure how they are able to enforce this. This is why when I go grey, I rarely ever consider buying in Taiwan unless the price is awesome.
Also, this has now made the news in Taiwan.... Not surprising considering two months ago, a huge news story that dragged on for days was about some semi-famous woman possibly carrying around fake Hermes bags. I really hope AP holds their ground and does not get bullied into giving in by the ridiculous Taiwanese news media.
