The hour and minute hands on Bel Cantos are not as easy to read as full size hands on a normal watch.
But I have an Azzurro (blue) Bel Canto too, and that has silver hands. Those visually merge with the bridges making it pretty hard to read the time quickly.
The black (white inner is lume) in practice are
far more readable, and you can read them at a glance in real life. This was a deliberate choice, both for readability, but also for aesthetics, as orange and black work perfectly together (as on the car).
