Stop buying used watches above retail and maybe things will get back to normal.. watches are to be enjoyed/worn and not kept for an investment or locked up in safe.

I think it’s best to realize that there are a number of different types of watch purchasers:
People who use the watch frequently.
Collectors, who are concerned with the history and workings of watches.
Investors, who think the watch price is going to go up in the medium to long-term.
Traders, who are basically betting on watch prices going up or down in the near future.
Folks who are intermediaries in supporting the above (resellers).
Like it or not, that’s the market that exists, and one needs to either take it as it is or move on. Futile to wish it was something else.
