One of my "other" Rolex watches
This one's a late 1930's British military pocket watch, stem wind & stem set caliber 548. The case back has the correct British broad arrow, originally used by the Board of Ordinance and more recently used by the Ministry of Defense. The B designation indicates it was a backup timepiece carried in a holder in a vehicle or vessel. This one has been verified by the Toronto RSC, overhauled, and it still runs like a champ. Nothing for show on this one, it was a purpose built, no frills, piece of equipment.

I don't want to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol IS a solution!
