Metal cannot stretch its not elastic but they can wear over many decades of wearing. But if kept clean with regular washing in good old soap and water most can outlive the owner. Watches should be worn slightly above the wrist bone and tightness so you can get tip of pinky finger under the clasp.
PS cannot see anything wrong with OP watch except being a little bit OCD.
