My Dad left me his 1979 vintage 1680, but sadly had had it "serviced" at some point by some clown who relumed the MK1 dial and did a shite job of it. I've seen replacement dials for no less than $2500 (not service dials), but am wondering if it's possible to remove the poor lume job and have it properly redone with tritium. Anyone? TIA.
