While I was on a list for the 12 series BLNR, as I researched (which is all you can do while waiting for a Rolex), I became concerned about the newer 32xx movement issues vis a vis the older, 31xx movement with a less noisy performance history. I told myself if i could find a "safe queen" NOS 11 series, I would buy it. Late last year I found one (stickers still on it) and while I paid a premium, I could not be happier.

I think it is the longer power reserve on the new movement that is causing the issues with the 32xx. Glad I don't have to worry about this. The 32xx was introduced in the GMT in 2018/19, so they are all just now coming off warranty. It will be interesting to see how Rolex handles this.
