That is was the Official watch of Pan Am Airlines. that is so cool. Pan Am was the top in the 1950's and 60's.

Seems like the whole connection to the X-15 could be explored which was the baddest aircraft ever flown. - Fastest pilot's watch to ever fly!

And if you let Omega tell the story you would think no other watch has ever gone to space. This is the first time I have ever heard that the GMT went to space - twice - on Apollo 13 and 14! So it is a "space watch". I would like to know more about both missions.
