The rehaut is part of the case, so the dial needs to be unscrewed and moved to achieve what you want. It is trial and error because the simple act of tightening the screws moves everything slightly.

The insert is just as difficult/easy. The insert needs to come out (tools and know-how needed) and re-seated a few nano-mm in the direction you want.

Since there is no actual relationship except aesthetics to these parts.... yada, yada.
