How did you find the seller? Anything to suggest he was completely trustworthy, and/or knew watches? 40 years is a long time to remember the complete history of a watch. Especially one that was never sent for servicing…yet, has a new bezel that won’t fit, along with a damaged old bezel that won’t fit.
