I find it difficult to write for extended periods of time with my MB pens. Although I love them, they feel cumbersome after a while. Here I've included pictures of my inexpensive but treasured pens.
Everyone is familiar with the G2s, but the Pilot "Center of Gravity" is pretty terrific. It was designed by a physical therapist and is literally the most comfortable pen I have ever used. It uses something Pilot refers to as "turbo ink," and although not a true gel, writes in a deep carbon black. (You would be hard-pressed to differentiate the ink from a true gel.)
Thank you, guys, for the FP recommendation and I intend to order the Lamy before the day is through. I love the idea of not simply writing with different color inks, but also the sense of antiquity that I associate with FPs.
