You don't have to ever go back there - and he/she will still sell that Sub C. End of story. As much as you don't want to hear it - they don't need you or anyone else who demands a discount to sell that particular model.
Now, go to the same store ready to buy a less desired model or a gold/plat watch of almost any model, and I would guess they would jump at the opportunity to offer you a discount off the MSRP
Bottom line: it's not greed, it's capitalism
