My New GMT IIc is very accurate.
After one week old my new GMT IIc did seatle and since than it keeps the same second every day, when it comes to be less than a second faster I put it up during the night, when it comes to be slower less than a second I let him face up during the night. It is like this for two months and never had to set the time again. Another thing that did bother me was the date changing it was first at 00:05 and now it changes date at 00:02, I hope that it could be a little more accurate but by some professional opinion it is normal.
