Interesting responses - especially those in favor of the Milgauss. Nothing against the Milgauss - I have only seen it at an AD and don't own one. Like all Rolexes it is a very high quality piece but the look is really one of preference.

I do have a GMT IIc and it is quite simply the finest watch I have ever owned. I have owned IWC, Omega and Rolex. The look, feel, GMT function, trip lock crown, updated bracelet and accuracy make this a watch I simply can't take off. My Exp II and GMT 16710 have gotten very little wrist time over the last six months.

In the end it is always about personal preference. However, IMO the IIc is the quintesential Rolex made today.
