Don't want to fire things up but I think he has just been truly unfortunate to get a watch with a fault. I wouldn't think twice about running in a Rolex! They have become high end jewellery but the movements were designed to be incredibly tough!

I know this was a GMT, but Milsub's were tough enough for the Special Boat Squadron!
