I would have knee problems when I would get above 20. Although I've found I can go pound the stairs outside and my knees are just fine. Knee problems ..... cycling and stepper machine
Both low impact.Careful of running !! Also see if the ski/cross trainer works for you.Low impact,but depending on the angle at which it works,can cause stress on the ligaments with an underlying injury.
