Also, couldn't get over the fact that on the 111 the second hand is painted white while the hr and min hands aren't. Couldn't get over that....

I think the white seconds add balance to the face,they are taking place of the number 9 so to me look better white than having the 12,3,6 one colour then having the 9 space another.
