I would keep the 000. The 000 is a beautiful watch. I always have to set the time and date on my automatic watches. Winding the watch just takes a few more twists. I know it is not as convenient as an automatic, but it is not that bad. The PAM 111 is the only manual winding watch that I have and the only other PAM that I could see myself trading it in for would be the 312. The 312 has everything I like about the 111 except it also has the date w/o cyclops and is automatic. I thought about getting a 104 before purely because it was automatic and I was used to having all automatic watches. I was drawn to Panerai originally because of the sandwich dial and the exhibition case back. With the 104 I would lose the sandwich dial, and exhibition case back in favor of the date and automatic functionality. I chose to stick with what originally attracted me to the brand and went with the 111. Good luck with your decision.
