It is simple how a piece like this works in our community A watch like this without provenance is incorrect unless/ until corroborated ... In some way...to what degree will vary ...maybe just the story from the seller if it's a trustworthy source .. Maybe just the little details you can piece together .. Similar engraving style to known pIeces, the engravers hole, the font and style of inner numbers .... None of these are damming or conclusively supporting either way as all can be faked ...
