I have a Submariner and sent it to Rolex for repair a couple of years ago. It came back like a brand new watch and I was very pleased with the result. Cost was $832 but I would presume your 6241 would probably be more. Take it to a reputable Rolex dealer who will send it to Rolex for an estimate and then you decide if you want it done.
