Unless you track the car, you'll never get anywhere near the style of driving these cars were designed for in the states.. Just get a sharp looking car that gets 40mpg.. How often do you drive long distances at 100mph+ in the states? I do it daily in Germany, which is why I have a B8 S4.

Whenever I do return to the US, the S4 will be sold locally and I'll purchase an auto in the US that's a fairly quick, modern design, and still gets 35+mpg on the highway while I'm tooling along doing 65mph or sitting in traffic.

This is why Audi is so reluctant to send their RS line to the USA. Simply no need for it unless you're having an inferiority complex.

BMW interiors are still junk for the amount of coin you'll spend - my wife has a 5 series wagon and the fit, finish, and materials aren't anywhere close to my Audi.
