Well Adrian farting is a perfectly natural thing for us hot blooded divers you know, on or below surface.It comes from several sources, the air we breath gas seeping into our intestines from our blood, gas produced by the chemical reaction in our gut and gas produced by bacteria living in our gut,all perfectly natural!.

And the well rasping sound of a good fart are produced by vibrations of the anal opening.Sound volume depends on the velocity of expulsion of the gas
and the tightness of the sphincter muscles of the anus.But with all that extra buoyancy,think I pop would up like cork to the surface to gas off.
