I completely agree with this point I always thought the AP's were so so ugly until I saw them in the flesh and they really are beautiful they just photo so badly..
DSSD is the only rolex I think is actually too over designed they tried too hard and it's way too busy IMO.. however if your a 'proper diver' it's the only watch to get!!
The AP movements are actually incredible but obviously that makes the watches twice the price!
