You can't see it in the photos, but the posts are hinged on one side, though rather ingeniously so; they're designed to appear fixed, just like the other side.

The non-branded Swiss Kubik single watch winder in leather with the optional glass cover is already kissing $1K, so I'd assume that the price on this one is over a grand. At least I've heard that's the case with the Rolex and IWC-branded versions.
So yeah, unless you've got a generous AD or have money to burn, I'd have to agree with everyone who said their wrist is the best winder. ;-)
