Only just noticed this - I have become more used to the Datejust II in terms of size, and I do think it looks handsome in its 116300 layout. Size-wise, 40mm + suits my wrist size best, but in terms of style, I prefer a slightly sportier watch these days - although I think the DJII is a better prospect for my wrist, the style of the watch isn't to my taste these days
