I'm seriously considering one but I don't want to buy a higher end model if a replacement strap is not easy to get as I've had issues with the longevity of rubber/plastic straps. They usually end up breaking where they crease at the buckle. For $100 I'd get a lower end model and just consider it disposable, but not for $400+.

Straps are easy enough to pick up, I've seen plenty on ebay for under £20.
They're really easy to change, too. Couple of screws and you're good to go.
I would advocate getting a lower-end G if you plan on using it as a true tool watch; I cannot reccommend the Mudman range enough.
