I just got back from Jamaica a few days ago. I wore my Sub throughout the trip and my fiance wore her oysterdate for probably half the time (with it spending the rest of the time in the safe). I never felt concerned. That being said, I was at Sandals and spent the whole trip either in the airport, on the charter bus or at Sandals. I can't really speak to comfort level outside of a resort setting...
