Brooks Brothers would be a good start for nice English shoes that you try on in person and do not care if they are Sargent's or C&J made for Brooks Brothers. I have heard that Brooks Brothers may have their shoes at 20-25% off sometime in April (Easter Sale???).

If you do chose to use Brooks Brothers, you may want to get your local store to get them for you. This way you won't have to pay for shipping, and you can get a couple of sizes without paying for either before chosing the size that works best for you.
However there are quite a bit more selection at Ben Silvers.
