To the OP--sorry, but I disagree with you.

Seiko diving watches, just like any diving watches, must have certain attributes. You need to have a bezel that you can turn in one direction, you need the luminosity and fat index markers and you need to be able to count the duration of the dive, so you got some minute indicators on the bezel. These are the basics and every functional dive watch will incorporate them as well as some other minor items (e.g., a protected crown).

However, I wonder why Sieko chose the red and blue combo for the bezel, as red makes little sense once you go below 80ft. The wavelength of the light is too long to penetrate that deep and red turns into the ugly brown...
