Here are my PCLS thoughts (from another thread):


I'm completely torn on PCLs. I love them on my BLNR, and adore the brushed on my 216570. I always TRY to be gentle on my watches...more so one with PCLs? Maybe a tiny bit with the BLNR.....but....

I wore my Milgaus GV on-and-off as a daily beater for 3 years. This was before I started hanging out here, and therefore before I had ever heard of PCLs. I just though it had a nice bracelet. Did I worry about scratching it more than any other watch? Certainly not.

My TT Sub was my first Rolex, bought new in 1986 and worn everyday for nearly 20 years. I still love it and wear it regularly. In effect it has PCLs.

I might be in the market for a Subc No date.....quite fancy the idea of a second non PCL piece.

So I guess I like PCLs.
And I like brushed as well.
