Erm, my brother has both watches and the only difference on the markers is the size - they're not more raised, or covered in plastic/acrylic or whatever.
Funny thing is, he bought the LV to wear with the plan of selling his 16610 after he saw it in an AD's window when working in Australia, and on my advice snapped it up. But he dislikes the green bezel and larger markers so much he's never even taken it out of the box - and at the exchange rates he paid £3000 for the watch, he's decided to keep it as an 'investment'! - I also own a 16610, and was tempted to buy it off him but share his reticence, after all I can't wear a green watch with a suit and jeans can I?
Haven't got the heart to tell him they are still in production, I've already cost him 3 grand!
