In the novels that were set in Jamaica (Live and Let Die, Doctor No, and The Man with the Golden Gun come to mind), Fleming has several scenes in which Bond drinks Red Stripe. A decent pale gold lager, good for quenching thirst in hot weather, but not really a match for a good microbrewed American craft pale ale.
