I have somewhere around 100 fountain pens including sets. I have been collecting since 1990 or so... so that is quite some time to establish a collection.
The green striated / striped Montblanc pen set was a grail to me. It was wonderful to find and I would have likely paid double or above for the set in the condition I was able to find it in. It was a once in a lifetime acquisition in my estimation.
Eventually I will be liquidating my collection, but this set will remain. Perhaps my heirs will appreciate as much as I do.
