Is it possible to get the clip and trimmings re-plated 18K?
The snowcap looks very yellowed, so I'm fearful that the celluloid will be very fragile and brittle.

I would ask for more pictures of the barrel, nib, feed, closeup. Also the parts of the pen that this photo doesn't show (I've seen a very nice pen showing all the good stuff in one picture from top view and another one of the same pen's underside and it was melted somehow.)
One photo for this pen doesn't look too right.
Also, this is not quite green striated, but rather grey striated...
However, I do agree with Richard. If all other is good, US$1600 will be a good buy.
