I have to say I love the 5960 - one of my all time favorites.
Had a chance to play with 5905 at an AD in SLC while traveling.
It was a black dial and I thought the size was awesome and it wore perfectly on my 7-ish inch wrist.
Love the presence and the way it looked.
Size and pushers being the main difference between the two...
If I remember correctly it was a 79k retail? Vs 95k last retail on 5960. But as many have said the 5960 can be had easily in the 50k range.
