Stretch some bug screen across your camera lens and use point source lighting (a candle works nicely).
They also sell special filters which have a cross scratch pattern on them but bug screen works nicely and is probably free in your house somewhere.
There is a reason they use lots of tiny halogen lights in the stores. Makes them sparkle more! Especially diamonds!
