Took possession of this watch today. It's at 1967 Rolex 1675 with matte dial and the rare small GMT hand that is said to be the transitional model after the gilt dial. From what I have researched the very early matte dials came out with the small GMT hand before being replaced by the big hand production. Maybe they used the left over small GMT hands from the gilt dials before going to the big GMT hand with all the matte dials or maybe it was planned to do a small run of matte dials with small GMT hands....???

Either way I had to search high and low for this watch which seems to be in very limited numbers, especially in good condition.

My knowledge of vintage watches is very small so correct me if anything above is wrong.

Any how I think I'm I love with it.
