Nice write-up!
I bought a SubCdate as my first rolex. I contemplated getting without the date, but in the end I had to because of it being a classic Rolex feature. Love the watch and cannot really fault it at all. I love every detail of the watch and would not change anything. That is rare for me to say as I'm never 100% content with a design, colors, etc. I'll say it was tough to let go of the money to get one, since I could have bought a lot of other stuff, but I don't regret it. Now I'm hooked. lol I keep itching to get another watch.
