We should remember that this is a Rolex fan-club and that any other brand will play second fiddle. I also feel that Rolex has become the go-to 'affordable' luxury watch brand akin to people going out to buy a 'Hoover' rather than a vacuum cleaner. Looking at other brands, Patek is unreachable because of price and perhaps Panerai is the cool choice. I think the brand is great although I haven't found one I'd want as a keeper.
