I agree Grand Seiko has massively under appreciated and is still underappreciated, but I've noticed a lot more attention being paid to it in the watch media over the past two years (heck, even by the Watch Snob!), and particularly this year with their releases and branding change at Basel.
I think Grand Seiko's reputation and status will only get better around the world, and unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately for existing owners of GS watches) with it, its prices will as well.
